Awards and Medals that may be earned by Victoria Military Simulation Team members.



The Soldiers Medal is awarded to any team member who distinguished himself by heroism not involvilng actual conflict with an enemy. The performance must have involved personal hazard or danger.


The Military Service Ribbon awarded to a MilSim team member who is serving in any capacity with the U.S. military.


The Good Conduct Medal is awarded on a selective basis to each MilSim team member who distinguishes himself from among his fellow team members by exemplary conduct, efficency, and fidelity throughout a specified period of continous active membership.


The Meritorious Service Medal is awarded to members of the MilSim team who distinguished themselves by outstanding non-combat meritorious achievement or service.


The Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal is awarded to members of the MilSim team who, subsequent to April 1, 2005, performed outstanding volunteer community service. It must have been significant in nature and produce tangiable results and reflect favorably on the Victoria MilSim team.


The Service Ribbon is awarded to members of the MilSim team for successful completion of initial-entry training. The Service Ribbon may be awarded retroactively to those personnel who completed required training before April 1, 2005 provided they had an active MilSim status. Only one award is authorized.


Certified First Aid Ribbon is given to members certified in First Aid.


Team Recruiter Ribbon is given to a member who has activly and successfully recruited at least three (3) individulas for the team.


Victoria Military Simulation Team Unit Ribbon given to a member who has participated in a MilSim Operation.


The Nightstalkers Ribbon is awarded to a team member who has attained the honor of Nightstalker.


This is the Combat Action Ribbon awarded to a team member who participated in two or more Mil Sim scenarios.


This is the Camp Anderson-Peters Ribbon awarded to a team member for successful completion of training at  Camp Anderson-Peters.


This is the Combat Infantry Badge awarded to a team member who is an expert in combat infantry.


This is the Infantry Badge which is awarded to a team member who specializes in the field of infantrty.


This is the Combat Action Badge, which is awarded to a team member who has participated in atleast three Mil Sim scenarios.


This is the Combat Medic Badge awarded to a team member who specializes as a combat medic.


This is the Ordnence Badge which is awarded to a team member who specializes in the field of explosive ordnences.


This is the Recruiter Badge which is awarded to a team member who specializes in the recruitment of new members.


This is the Military Intelligence Badge which is awarded to a team member who specializes in military intelligence and interrogation.


This is the Pathfinder Badge which is awarded to a team member who specializes in terrain assesment and navigation.


This is the Physical Fitness Patch which is awarded to a team member who has excelled in all aspects of physical fitness.
